Single Black Dot
The Single Black Dot podcast is a podcast about Black college students who attend PWIs (predominately white institutions) and some of the issues that we may face as a result. I'm from a majority Black town and now I'm currently a second year at UGA, one of the biggest PWIs in the country. Each week I cover a topic that relates to different aspects of Black students at a PWI. From racism ("My Roommate is a Trump supporter") to the diverse party culture ("Lit Like Bic"), my job is to show the average Single Black Dot the ropes to survive the culture shock. This podcast came out of the HBCU v. PWI debate and what school is best for Black students to attend. My goal is to let my audience know that you can demand success any, and everywhere regardless of your race. And always with a little sass. My audience is mostly Black college age students who attend PWIs and are very abreast to current events social issues, and partying.
