Sarah Smith is a television and film veteran. Starting her career at ABC News in Philadelphia, Smith has also worked for CNN & Headline News as a news producer & writer. Moving into entertainment, Smith became a publicist for New Line Cinema, Castle Rock Entertainment, Turner Pictures, Hanna Barbera, and the famous MGM Movie library which includes iconic films - Gone With the Wind and The Wizard of OZ. As Vice President of The Emmy Awards Foundation, Smith hosted CEO Bob Iger of Disney, Jose Castro of Univision, news legend Walter Cronkite and also championed new award categories to modernize the awards academy.
