About the Host
Host Name: Brian Scott
Host Residence Country: United States
I am a retired Athletic Trainer Certified who worked at the high school and collegiate levels with a brief stint in minor league baseball. I am currently living and working in Charlotte NC , but I started as a full time practicing PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine over14+ years ago. I am originally from Long Island NY.
I trained in NYC at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University where I completed my training as a certified physician assistant and then worked at the NY Presbyterian Queens hospital where I was a senior physician assistant.
While there I helped develop and implement our sports medicine department that went on to become the official orthopedic consultants for Queens College Athletics, St John's University Athletics, and also the NY Cosmos soccer team (revived) of the NASL.
I also served as a physician assistant preceptor for both the Cornell University and St Johns University physician assistant programs.
