The MoonshotEdu Show is a weekly podcast that explores frontiers and futures in education with leading authors, thinkers, innovators, and entrepreneurs. Each show consists of a short introduction and conclusion by the host along with a 30-45 minute interview with one or more guests. Guests have included people like John Couch (VP of Apple Education and author of Rewiring Education), David Labaree (Stanford Profess, author, and researcher), Thomas Frey (Founder of the DaVinci Institute and one of the more well-known futurists in the United States and beyond), Bryan Caplan (professor, economist, and award-winning author), John Katzman (founder of the Princeton Review, 2U, and Noodle Companies), and Robin Goldberg (Chief Experience Officer at Minerva, previously filling key roles in organizations like Lonely Planet and Nestle). The host is Dr. Bernard Bull, a professor, Vice Provost of Curriculum and Innovation, and author of five books. He has given over 150 invited and keynote presentations in the United States, Europe, and Asia; and has consulted or done research/writing for a range of organizations (Harvard Business Publishing, K-12 schools and Universities, Markle, the Academy of General Dentistry, education startups, and a long list of educational leaders). In addition to the regular weekly show, he plans to begin a series of solo bonus podcast episodes where he offers commentary on current events in education, as well as insights into more of his own current and emerging research on futures and innovations in education.
