Ad Sales Executive for our Sports-Related Content
We are looking for an experienced ad sales executive to join our growing team to assist us in securing advertisers/sponsors for our growing list of sports-related podcasts. We represent many different indie sports related podcasts within our master AdvertiseCast podcast network and we also own/manage a niche sports podcast network called Overtime Media. You will be responsible for finding advertisers for both networks.
As a sports sales executive, your primary responsibilities include: Sell podcast advertising for our 300+ sports-related podcasts, prospect new sports-related advertisers, help win new business, and successfully manage those accounts. This is an exciting role with lots of growth opportunity.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Selling ad inventory for our sports-related podcasts on AdvertiseCast.com and our sports network Overtime.media
- Identify new business opportunities with national brands and agencies.
- Identify new sponsorship/advertising opportunities from local and regional businesses.
- Follow-up, qualify, nurture, and close sales from warm leads.
- Build and maintain relationships with new clients as their main point of contact.
- Create and present campaign proposals, generate insertion orders, and effectively manage ad buys from start to finish within our platform.
- Educate potential customers and partners about our business to generate interest.
- Build rapport with clients, provide excellent timely customer service, grow the accounts, and gain additional business from referrals.
- Work directly with the founding team.
Skills/Experience/Education
- Prior ad sales experience in sports-related media (ideally podcasts/on-demand audio, or satellite radio) minimum 3 years.
- Pre-established relationships with sports media buyers and agency partners.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Strong networking skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service ethos.
- Motivated by hitting sales targets.
- A general passion for on-demand audio/podcasts.
- Enjoy a fast-paced startup culture.
- Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
