Chief Revenue Officer
Title: Chief Revenue Officer
Location: Fully Remote
Position DetailsResponsible for strategic planning, product development, marketing, branding, and partnerships. Together with other members of the executive team, responsible for executing the current corporate strategic plan, focusing on expansion to new customer segments and partnerships, while ultimately strengthening operations. Specific duties include: 1) partnering with other members of the executive team to execute the current corporate strategic plan and develop future plans; 2) ensuring performance, strategy, and alignment of the organization’s revenue-generating departments; 3) managing a sales team that can drive business growth across all customer segments and profiles and sharing accountability with the marketing function for improving the individual customer experience and strategy; 4) helping maximize reach and efficiency by adding new, scalable partners in a strategic way; 5) building and fostering creative teams committed to continuing our culture of innovation; 6) monitoring the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth; 7) monitoring the marketplace and analyzing opportunities, providing competitive analysis, strategies, and tactics; 8) collaborating with finance, product management, and marketing on messaging, pricing strategies, and business models to achieve revenue goals; 9) identifying and resolving issues across the marketing/sales and account management functions; and 10) participating in contract negotiations. This position supervises 10 subordinates in the position of Vice president of sales, director of sales, account executives, business development representative, and advertising operations associate. May telecommute from any location in the U.S.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience in the high-growth technology field. Must also have 12 months of experience with each of the following: Overseeing the implementation of technology solutions to achieve growth; Delivering revenue growth and managing sales operations; Managing teams of sales and marketing professionals in high-growth environment; and Building a sales team and delivering millions in revenue. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently. This position requires 10% to 20% domestic and international travel to meet with clients and attend/speak at industry events.
