He covered the team for 1500ESPN.com and the Purple Podcast. When the station rebranded as SKOR North, Matthew was given his own Monday-Friday show called Purple Daily, which offered 365-day per year coverage of the Vikings. In 2020, the station went off the airwaves due to COVID cuts and Matthew launched Purple Insider as a daily newsletter
