As a seven-time Emmy Award-winning television producer, director, writer, and executive with over 40 years experience in the broadcast business, I can give people an insider look at the Streaming Video business. The world of streaming video has made it easy for people watch their favorite shows whenever and wherever they want. Primetime, is now whenever you the consumer wants it to be. So, TV shows, movies, sports are all being consumed mainly by both men and women 18 to 49. Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Showtime, Starz, BritBox, Acorn and a number of streaming services are all battling for the attention of the audience. My goal is to talk make sense out of what is going on in the business by breaking news, talking to the industry executives and stars that are shaping this industry. I will use my weekly columns in The Huffington Post and my syndicated columns to promote the podcast. Moonshot is an award-winning podcast exploring the worlds biggest ideas and the people making them happen. We explore big 'moonshot' ideas like self-driving cars, brain implants, robots, Mars space travel, artificial intelligence, and the future of transport. As we explore these topics we feature in depth interviews with successful entrepreneurs, investors, and future thinkers. The people we're talking to are actively changing the world as we know it. Moonshot is hosted by Kristofor Lawson and Andrew Moon and is a production of Lawson Media. Moonshot was a finalist in the 2017 Melbourne Press Club Quill Awards, a finalist in the 2018 Australian Podcasting Awards, and was awarded 'Best Independent Media' at the 2018 ACS IT Journalism Awards. Our show has also been featured by Apple Podcasts and Pocket Casts. About our audience Moonshot listeners are largely US based, and highly educated with more than 55% achieving a college degree. People in our audience are likely to work in technology, engineering, or design, and 65% of our audience work in intermediate roles or above - meaning they are likely to be in a position to help make decisions for their businesses. 35% are married, and 40% are single (never, married), and 40% of our audience have household income levels above $80k+ USD. The Gentlemen's Debate Podcast was created by 3 friends to discuss all of the interesting events, news and sports. We discuss a wide variety of topics from technology news, random articles to combat sports events all with a comedic twist.
