Steve Charney and Harry's
"Conversations With My Dummy" is a throwback to old time radio, featuring original comedy routines, funny songs, sound effects, voice characterizations and ventriloquism (yes, before you ask about his lips, Steve works on the honor system) It aired for over 30 years on commercial and public radio stations around the country. Steve Charney and his show was profiled in the "New Yorker" magazine and he was a commentator on "All Things Considered". His musical guests include well known musicians and authors such as John Sebastian, Peter Schickele, Tom Paxton, Christine Lavin and Daniel Pinkwater. This is not your ordinary podcast where talking heads inform you of a subject. This is intellectual silliness. Verbal mayhem and often story lines that are resolved by the end of the program. The show is uploaded to Youtube, iTunes, Podomatic, Patreon, and Google plus and is promoted on Facebook, Twitter and Steve's website. Steve already has a cult following his goal is to tap into these radio listeners and broaden his base as the podcast gathers steam.
