Welcome to OGLFG, the place for geek culture views, news, and reviews! Each week we give our comedic take on the latest in geek culture. From movie and game reviews, news and speculation, and other events in geekdom. Our podcast is a little over 6 months old and we have seen steady growth since launching. We are currently in iTunes top podcast for TV and Film, and will soon be featured on Podbean as well. We are steadily bringing guests onto our show that are in the field of, podcasting, writing, artists, and overall people who produce entertainment. Our first guest was Famous Sheamus who is a long time podcaster with 4 seperate shows! We have been featured as a guest as well and have more appearances scheduled through out the year. We have an active social media following on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and recently Reddit. Our podcast is on all the major podcasting platforms, as well as Facebook and Youtube. Our goal is to help create interest in your product from our listeners, and also giving them a call to action to buy your products. We have had successful partnerships to date and we are looking to expand our collaborative opportunities. We give detailed descriptions of the product, our positive experiences with it, and explain to our listeners the benefits and why they should try it themselves. We have a very exuberant vibe to our show so when we do partnerships, we give a lot of energy and excitement to the presentation. This in turn, excites our listeners and creates positive interest in your product! In specific cases we also promote to our social media followers as well.

Total Sidebar is three friends who can make an entertaining conversation out of a discussion on, well, pretty much anything. We are women work, raise families, and go off on tangents that never fail to surprise and entertain. Comedian and guest wrangler Ellen Comley runs the shows, selecting topics that her two sidekicks Jennifer Palmer and Alex Shumway are not briefed on, meaning all content is fresh and unscripted. The average show might include an argument over how to penalize people who suck at parking, what happened to Hammer Pants, or whether you should ever accept a trophy that calls you an “Unsung Hero.” We also cover pop culture in our “Like it Or Not” segment and toss up impossible decisions in our which-would-you-rather-do segment Speed Round. We are a team of very funny, very relatable grown-ass women who have become a habit for a core of rabid listeners who love to “sidebar.” Our listeners tell us we are their best pals for the morning commute, working in the kitchen, getting in your 10,000 steps or kicking back with a cocktail (or three). We studiously avoid politics and contentious current events, and instead focus on the ridiculous and absurd – think “Seinfeld” at a girls’ weekend. One listener claims we lower his blood pressure with every episode (should we look into bottling this stuff? Hello, Bristol-Meyers, our new sponsor!). We have all worked in advertising most of our careers (look us up!) so we are well-versed in what it takes to deliver a great advertising value. We can write custom scripts for any advertiser or punch up existing spots so they come through in the Total Sidebar voice. We will organically promote products within the show, and happily talk about our beloved sponsors on social media. Just a bit Outside can be described using our slogan: "Sports conversations at the corner of Purpose and Play." We strive to be the podcast that helps fans get to know the people who make us all fans by talking about the substance in sports instead of just the headlines. Join us every Friday for a conversation about the purpose, meaning, and substance behind-the-scenes in the wide world of sports. Our vision is to create a platform for people in sports to tell their stories. We want fans to get to know the guys who make us all fans. We are slowly but surely growing our podcast. We started small (20-25 listens per episode), but with good, quality content and a platform that helps athletes, media members, and sports personalities become more genuine and real to the fans, we feel that we can and will continue to grow. We are passionate about this new vision. We have recently grown to over 100 listeners per episode. Why should you advertise on our show? We have an audience that is dedicated to our content. Most of those who listen to our show are young adults passionate about sports. The intersection of purpose and play is exactly where we find ourselves with this podcast.
